Energy from electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, chemical, thermal, and other sources is essential to powering modern job sites but also has the potential to create serious hazards to workers in many industries.
This course introduces the dangers associated with hazardous energy as well as how to control them and for working safely in their presence. The course utilizing NFPA-mandated best practices to address Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, energy isolation, and more to help workers stay safe on the job.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the local regulations and international Stds on Electric Safety
- Understand the importance of CoHE/Electrical Safety Programs and able to apply, deploy LOTO program in Manufacturing operation.
- Know how to establish PM Job Plan for Electrical Works in Facilities Management (Medium, Low Voltage Switchgear, Transformer, Distribution & Control Panels, etc.)
This course comprises of one (01) day with training content as follows:
- Safety moment and Sharing Electrical accident/learning
- Local Electrical Safety Regulations and Requirement
- International Standards on Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E/B & NETA)
- Control of Hazardous Energies (CoHE) & Lockout/Tagout Programs
- The Application of CoHE and Electrical Safety Standard in Manufacturing Operations.
- PPE Selection for Electrical Works (NFPA70E).
- Electrical Safety in Preventive, Predictive Maintenance Program.

- Training Certificate: Certificates will be issued for each participant by SEN Consulting JSC
- The number of Participants: Min: 20 pax – Max: 30 pax
- The total fee: 2.400.000 VND/participant (In words: Two million and four hundred thousand Vietnam Dongs only).

Mr. Vu is a qualified professional with more than 18 plus years of experience and knowledge in the development and delivery of quality-control production lines, facilities, utilities, Factory Operations (EHS, QA, Inventory, Human Resources, Financial, Procurement, Engineering, and Facilities Maintenance Service).
With this periodical time, 5 years of working as reliability and preventive maintenance engineer level and 13 years of experience working as manager & Sr. Manager levels to manage multi-disciplines such as Design and Construction, Facilities Management, Production Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering, Safety, Production Management and Plant Management in Food, FMCG, Semiconductor, Photovoltaic manufacturing, and other industries. He has strong Practical skills and knowledge in Life Safety and Electrical Safety Programs and is a Local Safety Coach and Global Equipment Engineering Lead for current employment (First Solar VN).
He got the certificates of Maintenance Manager (AMP), NFPA 70E – Electrical Safety Program, Facility Manager – Rice University USA (IFMA). Mr.Vu also masters in some international electrical standards such as NETA (National Electrical Testing Association), NFPA70E and NFPA70B, IEEE, and IEC.
