A warehouse (WH) is an area where complex operations that can create many risks and cause accidents for workers.
Goods storage often involves multiple activities in the warehouses that include forklift operations, chemical materials, and manual operations. There are many dangers and circumstances in which warehouse operations can cause occupational incidents and in fact, many tragic incidents have occurred in factories and warehouses. Safeguarding people and goods in warehouse operations has become a mandatory requirement and is the top concern of many manufacturing operations today.
This course is to provide managers and warehouse supervisors basic and essential knowledge and guidelines that can be immediately applied in daily operations to ensure safe warehouse operation and manage relevant activities within the warehouse in the safest way.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

1st Day – Instructor: Mr. Nguyen H. Phuong Duy
Mr.Duy is a highly skilled and professional consultant with over twelve years experience in managing health, safety and environment (OHS&E) in logistics and manufacturing.
He had 5-years of experience in warehouse and transportation management while worked in Linfox Logistics Vietnam Ltd. as SHE Manager. He was responsible for overseeing to country safety, health and environmental initiatives, strategies, programs, and procedures, responsibilities include supporting premises via hands-on counsel, supervision, assessment and implementation of Safety Culture, SHE Strategy and Performance, Risk Assessment and Elimination and SHE Capability building.
Mr.Duy also worked as HSE Excutive for JLL Vietnam (3 years) and HSE Leader for Alkana Vietnam (3 years). He got Trainer certificate issued by MOLISA, Cetification on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 22000 – HACCP.
2nd Day – Instructor: Mr. Vu Minh Hung
Mr. Hung is a 20+ years experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Professional and 9 years researched as a scientist in Biology and Environment.
He is strong and result driven in daily EHS programs execution for manufacturing operation, people-oriented in EHS services and building safety culture which are key and critical mission of an organization. He is a strategic thinker; strong in EHS&S Systematic Management Development including train EHS personnel, develop EHS procedures and get them implemented. He has excellent experience in managing EHS MS including risk management (both personal and process), training EHS people & EHS workshop facilitation, auditing legal EHS compliance, contractor management, chemical management, etc. He has successfully built some good EHS teams with passion, made EHS procedures and programs are developed & successfully implemented in big organizations.
Mr. Vu Minh Hung is serving as Director, EHS Manufacturing for SEN Consulting Joint Stock Company recently. He played EHS&S leadership roles in big corporations and companies in Viet Nam i.e. EHS&S Senior Manager for First Solar Viet Nam Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (3 years), EHS Senior Manager for Bosch Viet Nam Manufacturing Co. Ltd (4 years). He got 13 years worked for Oil and Gas Industries including 2 years for JVPC Co. Ltd. and 11 years for BP/Castrol Lubricant Co. Ltd.
